When picking a layout, we consider: Do you meet with people? How much storage do you need for files, binders, and drawers? How much desktop space do you need for what you are working on? The basic layouts are:
 

  • Front & Back Desk: nothing connecting them on the side.
  • U-Shape Desk: where you have front, side, and back desk space.
  • L-Shape & Corner-Facing Desks: where you have front and side desk space.

What are the best storage solutions for specific items like books, files, and/or electronic gadgets?

Pre-Owned & Refurbished: Consider purchasing pre-owned or refurbished desks and storage to minimize impact on the environment. Buying pre-owned desks extends its lifespan and reduces the demand for untapped resources. At Minnesota Office Furniture, we also refurbished a lot of the components that have a worn look on our pre-owned inventory.
